New Delhi — In a shocking incident, a 13-year-old boy from Afghanistan survived a perilous journey hidden inside the landing gear compartment of a passenger aircraft to reach India. The flight lasted 94 minutes, during which the boy endured freezing temperatures and life-threatening conditions before being discovered upon landing.
Indian authorities confirmed the child was immediately taken for medical examination and is receiving treatment. Aviation experts described the survival as “miraculous,” given the extreme risks of hypothermia and lack of oxygen at high altitude.
