Five Pakistani nationals have been deported from Sharjah after immigration authorities discovered that they were attempting to travel using fake UK visas. According to initial reports, the individuals had first traveled from Lahore to Malaysia on valid visit visas. From there, they attempted to enter the United Kingdom through Sharjah using counterfeit travel documents allegedly arranged by human-smuggling agents.
Sharjah authorities immediately detained the men after detecting the forged visas during routine verification. They were then deported to Pakistan and handed over to FIA officials at Lahore Airport.
The men — identified as Waqar Anjum, Tayyab Iftikhar, Ali Shan, Malik Zaheer, and Malik Zeeshan — were taken into custody and transferred to the FIA’s Anti-Human Smuggling Circle for further investigation.
Officials say the case highlights the growing issue of fake visa trafficking and the risks faced by individuals attempting to travel through illegal means. A nationwide crackdown against human-smuggling networks is already underway, and authorities warn that strict legal action will be taken against both agents and individuals using fake documents.
