Pakistan’s meat exports to China have reached an impressive $2.6 million from January to July 2024, marking a significant increase in trade volume. This surge is primarily driven by the export of boiled beef, highlighting the growing demand for Pakistani meat products in the Chinese market.
Owais Mir, Chairman of the DEA Group, attributes this success to the exceptional quality and competitive pricing of Pakistani boiled beef. He also notes that this growth reflects the strengthened economic ties between Pakistan and China.
In the first seven months of 2024, Pakistan exported 540 tons of boiled meat to China, valued at $2.607 million. With three Pakistani companies now authorized to export boiled meat to China, industry experts are hopeful for continued expansion in this sector, further solidifying the economic relationship between the two nations.
