Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan recently shared an unforgettable encounter with the late pop icon Michael Jackson, revealing that he was so starstruck that he nearly fainted upon meeting him.
During an episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati season 16, Bachchan recounted the story, which took place years ago at a hotel in New York. He explained that while staying at the hotel, he heard a knock on his door and was shocked to find Michael Jackson standing outside. “I was stunned to see him in person and nearly lost consciousness,” Bachchan recalled, admitting it took him a moment to gather himself before greeting the music legend.
Jackson had mistakenly knocked on the wrong door and, upon realizing the error, quickly apologized and left. However, the King of Pop later sent a message inviting Bachchan to meet for a conversation. The two stars then spent time talking.
Bachchan praised Jackson for being “incredibly humble and kind,” despite his monumental fame and global success.
Though Michael Jackson passed away in 2009, his music continues to inspire and captivate millions of fans worldwide.
