Shah Rukh Khan, often hailed as the “King of Bollywood,” has long been admired for his charisma and good looks. Now, science has backed up this widespread admiration. A new study conducted by renowned celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Julian De Silva has ranked Khan among the world’s top 10 most handsome male actors.
The study utilized the ancient ‘Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi,’ a mathematical formula historically used in art and design to gauge perfection in aesthetic appeal. Dr. De Silva applied advanced facial mapping software to analyze the symmetry of various actors’ faces, measuring how closely their features align with this Golden Ratio.
The 2024 list affirms that Khan is not only a heartthrob in India and Pakistan but is also regarded as one of the most attractive men globally. Ranking 10th, Khan is the only Indian actor on the list, with a facial symmetry score of 86.76%. His global appeal spans generations, making his inclusion unsurprising.
The list also includes international stars like British actor Idris Elba in ninth place with a symmetry score of 87.94%, and Riverdale’s Charles Melton in eighth, scoring 88.46%. Nicholas Hoult, famed for his role in The Great, ranked seventh with 89.84%.
Hollywood legend George Clooney secured sixth place with 89.9%, while Dunkirk star Jack Lowden claimed fifth with 90.33%. Robert Pattinson, known for his portrayal in The Batman, landed fourth with a score of 92.15%.
Gladiator II actor Paul Mescal came in third with a 92.38% score, while British actor Lucien Leon Laviscount, known for Coronation Street and Waterloo Road, claimed second place with 92.41%.
Topping the list is Kick-Ass and Bullet Train star Aaron Taylor-Johnson, whose facial symmetry score of 93.04% earned him first place. His striking features and global appeal placed him at the pinnacle of this exclusive ranking.
Shah Rukh Khan’s inclusion in this elite group is yet another achievement, reinforcing his global icon status. As he continues to bridge cultures and win hearts across the world, this ranking adds another feather to his already illustrious cap.
However, one question remains: Was Pakistani star Fawad Khan considered in this study? We suspect he could have easily made the cut. Dr. De Silva, take note!
