The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a weather advisory, forecasting cloudy weather with rain in several parts of the country’s upper regions. According to the latest report, rain showers are expected to hit areas including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northern Punjab, Azad Kashmir, and parts of Gilgit-Baltistan. These conditions are likely to persist for the next 48 hours, bringing a drop in temperatures.
PMD has also warned that heavy rainfall in certain areas may lead to local flooding and disruptions in road traffic. Travelers in these regions have been urged to exercise caution.
The weather forecast suggests that the southern and central parts of the country will remain dry and sunny during this period, with temperatures slightly higher than usual.
