The United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Sunday confirmed the murder of Tzvi Kogan, an Israeli-Moldovan national, and announced the swift arrest of three suspects involved in the crime.
In an official statement shared by the state-run WAM news agency, the Ministry of Interior stated, “The UAE authorities have arrested in record time the three perpetrators involved in the murder of Tzvi Kogan.”
Kogan, who had been reported missing since Thursday, was found deceased by security services in the Gulf nation.
Earlier, Israeli officials condemned the murder of the rabbi, with the prime minister’s office and the foreign ministry vowing to pursue justice. “Israel will use all available means to ensure the perpetrators of this heinous crime are held accountable,” the statement emphasized.
Further details on the case remain under investigation, as authorities in the UAE continue to coordinate efforts with international partners.
