Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has confirmed that it will resume its flights to Europe starting January 10, 2025, marking a significant milestone in the airline’s recovery and growth. The airline had suspended its European routes due to the global pandemic and operational challenges, but with the situation improving, PIA is set to restore services to key European destinations.
The first flight is scheduled to depart from Lahore to London, followed by other routes including flights to Paris, Frankfurt, and Rome. PIA plans to offer both economy and business class options to cater to a wide range of passengers.
PIA’s spokesperson stated, “We are thrilled to resume our European services, which will not only reconnect families and businesses but also promote tourism between Pakistan and Europe. Our fleet has been upgraded, and we are committed to providing a safe, comfortable, and reliable travel experience.”
To celebrate the relaunch, PIA is offering special promotional fares for early bookings, with a focus on making European travel accessible to a wider segment of the population.
European air travel has seen a surge in demand, and PIA’s return is expected to enhance competition in the region, giving passengers more options for international travel.
The resumption of European flights is a key part of PIA’s broader strategy to expand its international network and restore its position in the global aviation market.
