In an unusual incident of theft, thieves looted 10 kilograms of minced meat (qeema) from a butcher’s shop in Karachi. The robbery took place in the early hours of the morning, leaving the shopkeeper in disbelief.
According to the authorities, the thieves broke into the shop located in the Saddar area, taking the fresh meat and fleeing the scene before anyone could notice. The shopkeeper, upon arriving at the shop, found the meat missing and immediately reported the matter to the police.
Law enforcement has launched an investigation into the robbery, although no suspects have been apprehended yet. Locals are puzzled by the strange nature of the theft, as minced meat is not typically considered a high-value target.
The police are urging anyone with information to come forward as they continue to examine CCTV footage from nearby cameras to identify the culprits. This unusual incident has raised concerns about the security of businesses in the area.
