Quetta: Security forces successfully neutralized six terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan, according to a statement released on Thursday.
The operation, conducted in a remote area of the province, targeted a hideout linked to a banned militant organization. Weapons, explosives, and communication devices were seized from the site. Officials stated that the terrorists were involved in multiple attacks on security forces and civilians in the region.
“Such operations reaffirm our resolve to eliminate terrorism from the country,” said a spokesperson for the security forces.
Balochistan has seen a surge in militant activity in recent months, prompting intensified operations to restore peace and stability in the province. Further investigations are underway to trace links to other elements within the network.
This development is part of a broader campaign to strengthen national security and thwart terrorist threats in Pakistan.
