Produced by Himesh Reshammiya Musicals, the film, also starring Kirti Kulhari, released on February 7, 2025, alongside the Sanam Teri Kasam re-release and Loveyapa. While it has struggled in theaters, non-theatrical revenue streams—including music, satellite, and digital rights—have already helped Reshammiya recover the production costs, making the film a financial success despite its underwhelming box office numbers.
Second Best Performer After Sanam Teri Kasam
Directed by Keith Gomes, Badass Ravi Kumar has managed to secure the second-best position among Hindi releases in its opening week. The Sanam Teri Kasam re-release has dominated the box office, outperforming the competition, while Loveyapa remains behind in the race.
Marking Himesh Reshammiya’s return to acting after five years (following Happy Hardy and Heer in 2020), the film generated buzz with its retro parody style and high-energy music, a signature of the multi-talented artist.
