Saudi Minister Extends Umrah Visa to 90 Days for Pakistani Pilgrims, Boosts Religious Tourism

Saudi Arabia’s Minister for Hajj and Umrah, Dr Tawfiq Bin Fawzan Al Rabiah, announces the extension of Umrah visa duration to 90 days for Pakistani pilgrims. To enhance religious tourism, Saudi Arabia is opening up 100 historical and religious sites in Makkah and Madinah, offering pilgrims a richer experience. This move is part of Saudi Arabia’s continuous efforts to ease pilgrimage procedures and reduce Hajj expenses for pilgrims.
During a joint press conference with Pakistan’s Minister for Religious Affairs, Dr Tawfiq highlights the close collaboration between both nations and the strong relationship they share. President Arif Alvi and caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar discuss bilateral ties and commend Saudi Arabia’s support for Muslim causes. The Saudi minister also acknowledges Pakistan’s investment opportunities under the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), cementing economic cooperation between the two nations
