Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has announced an ambitious initiative to provide iftar meals to 10 million people across 61 countries during the holy month of Ramzan. The program, launched under the directives of King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, aims to support fasting individuals in various regions, including Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
The initiative, part of the Kingdom’s humanitarian efforts, will be executed through the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance in collaboration with local partners. It includes distributing food baskets, cooked meals, and essential supplies to those in need.
Saudi Arabia has consistently played a key role in aiding Muslims worldwide during Ramzan, reinforcing its commitment to global solidarity and charity. The iftar program is expected to benefit vulnerable communities, ensuring they can observe the holy month with ease.
This humanitarian effort aligns with Saudi Arabia’s broader vision of supporting global welfare and strengthening its leadership in the Muslim world.
