PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister has appointed a local footballer, who once sold jalebi to make ends meet, as a government coach and awarded him PKR 1 million in recognition of his dedication and talent.
The footballer, whose story of perseverance and struggle recently went viral, had been balancing his passion for football with running a small sweet shop to support his family. His journey touched many hearts, leading to widespread calls for support from the government and sports authorities.
Acknowledging his hard work and commitment, the KP CM not only offered him a coaching position in the government sports department but also provided financial assistance to help him focus on his career in football.
