The Sindh School Education Department has introduced a new code of ethics for government school teachers, emphasizing professional conduct and appropriate attire during duty hours. Female teachers are advised to adopt a traditional dress code, minimize the use of heavy makeup, avoid high-heeled shoes, and limit the display of excessive jewelry. Male teachers are encouraged to refrain from wearing jeans and t-shirts on school premises. Additionally, all teachers are reminded to maintain personal hygiene and foster respectful interactions with colleagues and students. The department clarified that these guidelines are advisory and not mandatory, aiming to promote a conducive academic environment.
