Islamabad – Once known for its reliable service and timely departures, Serene Air is now facing growing backlash from passengers over what many describe as “increasingly unacceptable” delays and sudden flight cancellations across the country.
Over the past few weeks, numerous customers have taken to social media platforms to vent their frustration, sharing stories of hours-long delays, last-minute schedule changes, and, in some cases, complete cancellations without proper communication or compensation.
“We were told to wait for ‘technical reasons’ for over five hours, only to find out the flight was cancelled altogether,” said Maria Khan, a frequent traveler from Lahore. “There was no proper explanation, no refund process, and the ground staff seemed just as confused as we were.”
Reports indicate that Serene Air’s operations have been affected by internal logistical issues, including maintenance backlogs and reduced aircraft availability. However, the airline has yet to issue an official statement addressing the rising complaints or providing clarity on how they plan to fix the situation.
Travel analysts warn that continued disruption without transparent communication could damage the airline’s reputation beyond repair.
“In a competitive aviation market, reliability is everything. If Serene Air fails to restore customer trust soon, it risks losing a major share of loyal travelers to its rivals,” said aviation expert Ali Naqvi.
For now, passengers are left hoping for more than just smooth skies—they’re hoping the airline can find its wings again.
