Peshawar – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has announced salary deductions from provincial employees to raise funds for flood relief and rehabilitation efforts.
According to an official notification, a portion of salaries from government staff — ranging from officers to lower-grade employees — will be deducted for the provincial Flood Relief Fund. The collected amount will be utilized to provide food, shelter, and medical support to families affected by the recent heavy rains and flooding.
Provincial authorities emphasized that the initiative reflects solidarity with disaster-hit communities, urging all departments to cooperate fully. Additional fundraising measures are also under consideration to meet the urgent needs of survivors.
