Peshawar – Continuous heavy rainfall has once again lashed the flood-affected districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), worsening the plight of already displaced families.
According to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), fresh downpours have triggered waterlogging and landslides in several areas, making access to relief camps and villages difficult. Officials fear the situation may lead to further displacement if rains continue.
Rescue teams and local administration remain on high alert, while the government has urged citizens in vulnerable areas to move to safer locations. Relief efforts are ongoing but severely hampered by the deteriorating weather conditions.
