Karachi, Pakistan – The Pakistan Navy observed Defence Day 2025 with patriotic spirit, paying rich tribute to the martyrs and veterans who defended the nation during the 1965 war. Ceremonies were held at naval establishments across the country, highlighting the sacrifices of armed forces personnel in safeguarding Pakistan’s sovereignty.
The day began with special prayers for the prosperity of the country and the eternal peace of the martyrs. Floral wreaths were laid at naval memorials to honour fallen heroes. Senior naval officials, war veterans, and families of martyrs attended the commemorations.
In a statement, the Navy reaffirmed its resolve to protect Pakistan’s maritime frontiers and contribute to regional peace and stability. Cultural programs, exhibitions, and awareness campaigns were also organized to mark the occasion, showcasing the Navy’s operational readiness and achievements.
