Karachi — Federal Education Minister has declared Karachi as the richest city of Pakistan, highlighting its role as the country’s economic backbone. Speaking at an event, the minister pointed out that Karachi contributes the largest share to Pakistan’s GDP, exports, and tax revenues.
He stressed that despite economic strength, the city faces challenges in infrastructure, education, and public services, which require urgent government attention. The minister added that improving education and skills in Karachi is key to sustaining its economic power and ensuring equitable growth.
