Lahore — The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast the arrival of the 11th monsoon spell in Punjab starting September 16, bringing heavy rainfall to several cities.
According to the advisory, strong showers are expected in Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, and surrounding areas, raising the risk of urban flooding and crop damage. Authorities have urged citizens to take precautionary measures and directed disaster management teams to stay alert.
Farmers have been advised to plan agricultural activities carefully as the spell may disrupt harvesting and fieldwork.
