Mianwali — Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has officially launched the electric bus service in Mianwali, expanding the province’s eco-friendly public transport network after its successful introduction in Lahore.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the CM said the initiative will provide citizens with affordable, safe, and environment-friendly travel options while helping reduce air pollution and fuel dependency.
Officials confirmed that modern charging stations are being set up across the city to ensure smooth operations, while students and working professionals are expected to benefit most from the new service.
