Sargodha — Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced the launch of 33 new buses for Sargodha on Friday, calling it a “special gift” for the people of the city.
Addressing a gathering, the CM said the initiative aims to improve public transport facilities, reduce commuting hardships, and provide affordable and modern travel options to students, workers, and families.
“This step is part of our broader vision to modernize Punjab’s transport system and ensure that no city is left behind,” she remarked, adding that further transport reforms are planned across the province.
Local residents and students welcomed the announcement, calling it a much-needed development for a city where public transport has long been limited.
