ISLAMABAD (13 Oct 2025) — The Pakistan Army has reportedly regained control of 21 enemy positions along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border after conducting strong retaliatory operations in response to recent cross-border attacks, security sources said Monday.
According to initial reports, Pakistani forces launched targeted counter-strikes, dismantling multiple enemy posts and securing key vantage points. The positions are said to have been temporarily brought under Pakistan’s control following hours of intense fighting.
Defense sources stated that the operation was carried out with precision to neutralize threats and ensure border security. They added that Pakistan reserves the right to respond decisively to any act of aggression against its sovereignty.
No official statement has yet been issued by the Pakistan Army’s media wing (ISPR). The situation along the frontier remains tense but under control.
