LAHORE — The Punjab government has officially launched a weekend double-decker bus service connecting Lahore and Sheikhupura, offering citizens a new and comfortable travel option aimed at boosting local tourism.
The initiative, launched under the Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP), will operate every weekend and include stops at major tourist attractions such as Hiran Minar and historical landmarks along the route.
Officials said the double-decker service will provide both sightseeing and convenient transport, making it ideal for families and tourists looking to explore nearby destinations affordably.
“This initiative will not only enhance travel convenience but also support the promotion of Punjab’s rich cultural heritage,” said a TDCP spokesperson.
