ISLAMABAD – In a major opportunity for aspiring scholars, the University of Tokyo has announced the ADB–Japan Scholarship Program (ADB–JSP) 2026, offering fully funded scholarships to outstanding Pakistani students for postgraduate studies in Japan.
The scholarship, funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Government of Japan, covers full tuition fees, monthly living allowance, airfare, medical insurance, and other academic expenses. Eligible candidates can apply for master’s degree programs in various fields including economics, management, science, technology, and environment.
University officials stated that the program aims to promote regional development and strengthen educational ties between Japan and developing member countries like Pakistan. Applicants are encouraged to demonstrate academic excellence and a commitment to contributing to their home country’s development after completion of their studies.
The application process for the 2026 intake will open early next year through the University of Tokyo’s official website.
