In a move to ensure maximum security and transparency, the MDCAT (Medical and Dental College Admission Test) exam paper was delivered this year in a sealed iron trunk, aiming to prevent any potential leak or tampering.
According to officials, the special iron container was locked under multiple seals and escorted by security personnel until it reached the examination centers. The measure comes after several previous instances of paper leaks and irregularities, which had sparked nationwide criticism and protests by students.
The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) stated that this new step reflects their commitment to maintaining the integrity of the examination process and restoring public trust. Students have appreciated the strict handling, calling it a “positive step toward fairness.”
