The Pakistan cricket team, led by Captain Babar Azam, embarked on its journey to India on Wednesday morning to participate in the highly anticipated ICC World Cup 2023. The team will compete against the world’s best cricketing nations in pursuit of cricketing glory.
The travel contingent comprises 18 players and 13 player support personnel, emphasizing the team’s commitment to a well-rounded approach to the tournament. Notably, former South African fast bowler Morne Morkel will join the team in Dubai, while experienced coach Mickey Arthur is set to join the squad in India.
The Pakistan team is scheduled to arrive in Hyderabad, India, at 8:15 pm local time on 27th September. This marks the beginning of their campaign, as they gear up to face their first warm-up match against New Zealand on 29th September, followed by a crucial warm-up clash against Australia on 3rd October.
