In a shocking development, cancer medication valued at Rs 360 million has been reported stolen from Civil Hospital, Karachi. The Medical Superintendent has initiated legal action, filing a case against several health department employees at Eidgah Police Station, alleging their complicity in the crime.
According to the filed case, a staggering 76,000 cancer pills vanished over a period spanning 10 months, from February 17 to September 26, 2023. Suspicions have fallen on two hospital employees, Niaz Khaskheli and Iqbal, as potential culprits in the ongoing investigation.
