In a spectacular show of national pride, 1,200 students from Government High School in Pakpattan joined forces to create a colossal human flag, measuring an impressive 9,600 square feet. This remarkable display was a highlight of the city’s Independence Day celebrations.
Attendees included prominent figures such as MPAs Chaudhry Javed Ahmed and Motiya Masood Khalid, who were present to witness the students’ impressive feat. Dressed in traditional Pakistani attire, the students formed the giant flag, exemplifying their deep commitment and love for their country.
Deputy Commissioner Sadia Meher praised the initiative, noting, “This display of unity and patriotism is exactly what Pakistan needs at this time.” She commended the hard work of the education department officials, teachers, and Dr. Abdullah Tabassum, whose guidance was instrumental in achieving the perfect formation of the flag.
The successful execution of this event is seen as a testament to the students’ teamwork and the efforts of the organizers. It aligns with the government’s broader initiative to foster national pride and unity among the younger generation, as part of the Independence Day celebrations led by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz across Punjab.
This inspiring display has not only captivated the nation but also set a shining example of patriotism and unity for the entire country.
