Authorities have identified the suspect as Faizan, a resident of Raipur. Mumbai Police are actively collaborating with local law enforcement to facilitate Faizan’s transfer to Mumbai for further questioning. The investigation remains in its early stages, with police officials working to determine whether the incident is an isolated act or part of a larger scheme.
This threat follows a pattern of increased security concerns for high-profile celebrities in the Indian film industry. Recently, actor Salman Khan has also faced similar threats, exacerbating worries over the safety of Bollywood’s top stars.
Mumbai Police confirmed that they were able to trace Faizan\u2019s details after conducting a detailed inquiry into the threatening phone call. Raipur police have been informed about the case, though Raipur SSP Santosh Kumar Singh mentioned that no official communication had been received from Mumbai Police at the time of his statement.
The Bandra Police have filed an FIR under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code, signaling the seriousness with which the authorities are treating this case. Faizan\u2019s apprehension and subsequent transfer to Mumbai for interrogation are expected soon.
This is not the first time Shahrukh Khan has faced death threats. His previous brushes with danger include incidents involving underworld connections and various publicized threats. Following the massive success of his films \u201cPathaan\u201d and \u201cJawaan\u201d last October, Khan was provided Y+ security by the Maharashtra Police as a precautionary measure.
