Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki, hailing from Lahri area, meets caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar at the PMO, accompanied by former provincial chief executive Jam Kamal. Domki, son of former senator Mir Hazor Bakhsh Domki (1975-1977), assumes the interim CM role amidst the dissolution of Balochistan Assembly, following Sindh and National Assembly.
As Sindh’s assembly term concludes, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and the Opposition choose Justice (retd) Maqbool Baqar as interim CM. On August 14, Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar takes oath as the eighth caretaker prime minister of Pakistan, leading the nation towards impending elections.
