Pakistan’s star batsman, Babar Azam, has etched his name into the history books of domestic cricket. During the ongoing Champions One Day Cup at Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad, the talented captain achieved a remarkable feat by scoring his 30th List-A century.
This milestone places Azam at the top of the list for most List-A centuries by a Pakistani cricketer in 50-over domestic matches. His latest century, a composed 104-run innings against the Dolphins, helped his team, the Allied Bank Stallions, secure a comfortable victory.
Azam’s impressive knock, which included seven fours and three sixes, came at a crucial time after a brief period of form slump. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) was quick to recognize this achievement, hailing Azam as the first Pakistani batter to reach the 30-century mark in List-A cricket.
