In an extraordinary display of faith and determination, a Bangladeshi man has completed a remarkable 8,000-kilometer journey on foot to reach the holy city of Makkah and perform Umrah after 270 days of travel.
According to reports from Saudi and Bangladeshi media, the man — identified as Abdullah from Chattogram — began his journey early this year, walking through India, Pakistan, Iran, and several Gulf states before finally entering Saudi Arabia.
Carrying only a backpack and a Bangladeshi flag, Abdullah documented his journey on social media, where thousands followed his progress and offered encouragement. He reportedly relied on the kindness of strangers for food, shelter, and guidance throughout his trek.
“It was my lifelong dream to reach the House of Allah on foot,”
Abdullah said upon arriving in Makkah.
“Every step I took was for my faith and gratitude to Allah.”
His inspiring story has gone viral across the Muslim world, with many calling him a symbol of devotion, perseverance, and humility.
Local residents and pilgrims in Makkah welcomed him with cheers and prayers, celebrating his incredible act of faith.
