In a touching act of determination and affection, a young boy in Lahore has offered his beloved pet chicken as payment to secure legal representation for his incarcerated uncle. According to The News, Ayan, cared for by his uncle Mohsin Abbas, faced financial constraints in hiring a lawyer for his relative’s criminal case.
With tears in his eyes, Ayan presented his cherished rooster to the lawyer at an anti-terrorism court, highlighting the family’s dire circumstances. Mohsin Abbas had been apprehended in Pattoki and was allegedly subjected to bribery demands by the police for his release.
Despite the family’s efforts to pay the requested amount, the situation took a surprising turn. Instead of securing Mohsin Abbas’s freedom, he was handed over to Lahore police. However, the lawyer representing Abbas remained steadfast, asserting that substantial evidence supports his innocence.
