Weather analyst Jawad Memon reported that several areas, including Gulistan-e-Johar, North Nazimabad, North Karachi, FB Area, and Liaquatabad, experienced the refreshing rain. Scheme 33 and its vicinity witnessed a mix of light to heavy showers, enhancing the overall weather experience for residents.
Memon attributed the rainfall to low-level cloud formation influenced by the “western turf,” which led to drizzles and light rain in the northern and central parts of the city.
The local Meteorological Department, in a statement on Sunday, declared that most districts in northern Sindh would experience cold weather. Additionally, the department warned of the possibility of fog in Sukkur, Khairpur, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Ghotki, and nearby areas.
The forecast specifically highlighted that the plains of Sukkur division are expected to be enveloped in heavy fog over the next couple of days. Citizens are advised to exercise caution while commuting and take necessary precautions.
As the city welcomes the refreshing rain, residents are gearing up for cooler temperatures, embracing the much-awaited relief from the recent dry and chilly conditions.
