Former Prime Minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan has defended his wife, Bushra Bibi, amid controversy surrounding her recent statement. Speaking at a press conference, Khan claimed that her words were “deliberately taken out of context” by political opponents and sections of the media to malign their family and his political movement.
Khan stated, “Bushra Bibi’s statement was twisted to create unnecessary controversy. This is a classic example of the smear campaigns we have faced time and again.” He emphasized that his wife has always stayed away from politics and her words were misconstrued to damage his credibility.
