For nearly eight years, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been embroiled in a contentious battle, not only over their French winery but also concerning the upbringing of their six children—Maddox, 23; Pax, 21; Zahara, 20; Shiloh, 18; and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16.
The Jolie-Pitt family has faced numerous challenges, including serious allegations of abuse and legal disputes over custody arrangements.
In a recent interview with Fox News Digital, Jon Voight, Jolie’s father and Academy Award-winning actor, expressed his concern over the ongoing family conflict. Voight, who admitted that he doesn’t see his grandchildren as often as he would like, called for a resolution to the situation.
“I wish they’d find a way to make peace,” Voight remarked while promoting his film Reagan, where he portrays ex-KGB agent Viktor Ivanov. “You know, I think the kids need some stability. I love the kids, and I love my daughter. And I want Brad to step up to do, you know, what he has to do. End this nonsense.”
Jolie and Pitt, who were married for two years, separated in 2016 after an alleged altercation on a plane ended their 12-year relationship. They were legally declared single in 2019.
In 2022, Jolie was granted sole physical custody of the children after a brief period of joint custody with Pitt, who was later awarded “custodial time.” However, the current custody arrangement remains unclear. Jolie has previously stated that her decision to leave Pitt was motivated by the well-being of their children.
