Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced a relief package of Rs. 5 million to support families affected by the recent devastating floods across the province.
The financial assistance will be distributed among the families who have suffered the loss of lives, homes, and livelihoods due to the flooding. CM Maryam emphasized the government’s commitment to standing by its people in times of crisis and ensuring timely rehabilitation efforts.
Rescue teams, along with provincial disaster management authorities, have been mobilized in the affected areas to provide immediate relief, food, and shelter to the victims. The Chief Minister also directed officials to expedite damage assessments and begin compensation distribution without delay.
