Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, today inaugurated the highly anticipated Honhaar Scholarship Program, aimed at providing financial assistance to 30,000 deserving students across the province. The scholarship program, designed to support students from underprivileged backgrounds, is expected to pave the way for their continued education in various fields.
In a ceremony attended by government officials, educators, and students, CM Maryam Nawaz expressed her commitment to ensuring that no student is deprived of education due to financial constraints. “The Honhaar Scholarship Program will offer a lifeline to thousands of bright students, allowing them to pursue their dreams without the burden of financial limitations,” she said during the inauguration.
The program will cover tuition fees and educational expenses for students from various disciplines, including science, technology, engineering, and arts. CM Maryam Nawaz emphasized that this is just the beginning and more scholarships will be introduced in the near future to ensure broader access to quality education.
“Education is the foundation of progress. The government is committed to investing in the future of our youth and ensuring that every deserving student has the opportunity to succeed,” she added.
