Riyadh: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has arrived in Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah. This marks her first visit to the holy land since assuming office.
According to sources, CM Maryam Nawaz is expected to visit the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah, where she will offer prayers and seek blessings. She is also likely to meet Saudi officials and members of the Pakistani community during her stay.
The visit comes at a time when the Punjab government is undertaking various developmental initiatives. Political analysts believe her Umrah trip also holds significance in the context of strengthening ties with Saudi leadership.
