In a landmark initiative aimed at supporting newly-wed couples, Chief Minister Punjab has officially launched the ‘Dhee Rani’ program, which promises a generous financial gift of 100,000 salami for eligible couples. This initiative seeks to promote marriage, enhance social stability, and empower families across the province.
During the launch event, the Chief Minister emphasized the importance of marriage in fostering societal values and strengthening family units. “This program is designed to provide financial support to newly-weds, helping them establish a strong foundation for their future together,” he stated.
The ‘Dhee Rani’ program will cater to a wide range of couples, ensuring inclusivity and support for those from different socio-economic backgrounds. Eligible couples must meet specific criteria, including proof of marriage and residency in Punjab.
Couples can apply for the financial assistance through designated government offices, where they will be guided through the application process. The initiative has already received positive feedback from the public, with many expressing gratitude for the government’s efforts to support families during this crucial phase of life.
As part of the rollout, the CM’s office is also planning awareness campaigns to ensure that couples are informed about the benefits of the ‘Dhee Rani’ program and how to avail themselves of the support offered.
The Punjab government hopes that this initiative will not only help newly-wed couples financially but also encourage a culture of marriage and family values within the community.
