In a dramatic rescue during recent flooding in Balochistan, crane driver Mohibullah saved five lives.
Using his crane, Mohibullah braved the dangerous conditions to rescue a family trapped by the floodwaters. His courageous actions have been widely praised and rewarded. He received Rs0.5 million from the Quetta corps commander and a scholarship for his son from the Balochistan government. Additionally, he was honored with Rs0.2 million each from Hilal-e-Ahmar Balochistan Chairman Abdul Wali Khan Ghabizai and Awami National Party member Zamrak Khan Achakzai, along with a certificate of appreciation and a cash prize from Killa Abdullah Deputy Commissioner Abdullah Farooq.
Mohibullah, motivated by the cries of children in danger, chose not to accept payment from the vehicle’s owner, stating his actions were done for the sake of Allah. His bravery has earned him admiration from people across the country.
