In a related development, it was reported that security forces had successfully conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Balochistan’s Kalat district last month. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), at least two terrorists were neutralized during the operation in the general area of the Nagao Mountains.
The operation was carried out in response to credible intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists in the region. Security forces engaged the suspects, resulting in the elimination of two terrorists. The ISPR commended the prompt and effective action of the security forces in maintaining peace and security in the region.
