Viral videos claiming to show Diwali celebrations in Saudi Arabia have surfaced online, featuring fireworks displays and people in traditional attire. One post on X stated, “Celebrating Diwali in Saudi Arabia,” suggesting the Arab world is embracing the festival.

However, fact-checking reveals that the video is old and unrelated to Diwali. The fireworks show actually took place in November 2023 in Riyadh during Expo 2030. There have been no recent Diwali festivities in Saudi Arabia, highlighting the need for caution when sharing unverified information.
