Religious scholars in Pakistan have issued a fatwa declaring one-wheeling, kite flying, and aerial firing as un-Islamic, citing the dangers these activities pose to human life and public safety.
The fatwa emphasizes that these acts are not only hazardous but also violate Islamic principles that stress the protection of life and property. Scholars pointed out that one-wheeling on motorcycles has led to countless fatal accidents, while kite flying, often involving sharp strings, has caused severe injuries and fatalities, including to children. Aerial firing, a common practice during celebrations, has been linked to numerous deaths and injuries due to stray bullets.
The scholars have urged the public to abstain from these practices, describing them as unnecessary risks that cause harm to society. They also called on authorities to strictly enforce bans on these activities to protect lives and ensure public safety.
This fatwa comes as a step towards raising awareness about the consequences of such actions and encouraging people to adopt safer and more responsible behavior.
