Rawalpindi, Pakistan – September 12, 2025 — Pakistan on Friday marked the 60th martyrdom anniversary of Major Raja Aziz Bhatti Shaheed, Nishan-e-Haider, with solemn tributes paid nationwide for his valor and sacrifice during the 1965 war.
At a commemorative ceremony, the Field Marshal laid a floral wreath at the monument of Major Aziz Bhatti Shaheed and offered prayers, acknowledging the indomitable courage with which he defended the motherland.
Military officials, veterans, and citizens also joined in honoring the legacy of the national hero, who fought bravely on the Lahore front and embraced martyrdom while commanding his platoon against overwhelming enemy attacks.
The Pakistan Army reaffirmed its resolve to uphold the spirit of sacrifice embodied by Major Aziz Bhatti, emphasizing that his example continues to inspire generations of soldiers in their duty to safeguard the nation.
