In a groundbreaking achievement for electric vehicles, the Ford Mustang Mach-E has set a new Guinness World Record by traveling an astonishing 915.73 kilometers (569.75 miles) on a single charge. This remarkable feat surpasses the previous record of 563.97 miles set by Zeekr’s autonomous division in Hangzhou, China, in September 2023.
The record-setting journey was undertaken by drivers Kevin Booker and Sam Clarke, with Richard Parker serving as co-pilot. The trip, which was conducted across a variety of roads in the UK, was rigorously documented with video, GPS, and battery data from Webfleet to ensure accuracy and transparency.
The Mach-E used for this record-breaking event was fitted with a 91 kWh battery and achieved an impressive average efficiency of 6.25 miles per kWh. This new milestone not only underscores the Mach-E’s capabilities but also highlights the advancements in electric vehicle technology and battery performance.
