London: Hassan Nawaz, the son of former Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, has been declared a tax defaulter in the United Kingdom and fined a hefty amount of Rs 1.8 billion.
According to reports, UK tax authorities have penalized Hassan Nawaz over unpaid taxes linked to his businesses and properties. The fine, equivalent to approximately £5 million, was imposed after an investigation into financial discrepancies.
