Former federal minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Ali Amin Gandapur has denied recent reports claiming that he met with PTI Chairman Imran Khan. The rumors about a possible meeting surfaced following unverified claims of Gandapur being in contact with the PTI chief, who is currently in custody.
In a statement issued earlier today, Gandapur clarified, “I have not had any meeting with Imran Khan. All such reports are baseless and misleading.” He further reiterated his loyalty to the PTI leadership and expressed concern over the spread of false narratives aimed at creating divisions within the party.
The clarification comes amidst increasing scrutiny of PTI leaders after the party has faced internal challenges and external pressures since May 2024. Political analysts believe such denials highlight the constrained environment for PTI members as they navigate through the ongoing political turmoil.
